Water is the basis of all life and that include our body. Our muscles that moves our body are 75% water. Blood that transport nutrients is 82% water; our lungs that provides oxygen are 90% water; our brain the control center of our body is 85% water, even our bones are 22% water.

Trying to loose weight is always a challenge, but water can be a valuable and easily adaptable component of a diet plan. Water acts as an appetite suppressant and is instrumental in breaking down and reducing fat deposit. The rate at which we burn calories (our metabolism) is a chemical process requiring water. We need adequate water to ensure the smooth functioning of this process. Water helps to flush toxins out of our system. The more toxins in our body the less capable it is of loosing weight. If you are dieting, keep your system functioning properly and maximize weight loss by drinking plenty of water.

Dr. Batmanghelidj, in his book "Your body's Many Cry for Water", offers clear solutions to cure numerous sikness:

Dr. Batmanghelidj, an Iranian doctor degree in Britain, suggest to drink every day, on a regular basis 8-10 glasses of water (about 30ml/kg) away from food, at least half an hour before and 2.5 hours later.

After decades of research he shows with numerous witnesses that many problems like high cholesterol, hypertension, gastritis, ulcers, constipation, hiatal hernia, allergies, asthma, depression, arthritis, migraines, chronic fatigue, may be reduced or eliminates and health can be improved significantly through correct and consistent intake of simple natural water.

For example: "High cholesterol levels are an indicator of early drought management by the body. Cholesterol is a clay-like material that is poured in the gasp of some cell membranes to safeguards them against loosing their vital water content to the osmotically more powerful blood circulating in their vicinity. Cholesterol, apart from being used to manufacture nerve cell membranes and hormones, is also used as a "shield" against water taxation of other vital cells that would normally exchange water through their cell membranes."

Proper hydration will also benefit the skin, sexual activity and hair. Once aware of that health and vitality depends on water (that constitutes 75% of our body), it would be appropriate to reduce alcohol and caffeine as a diuretic. Many feel the poor quality of water - "is heavy" - and drink a little, threatening a series of disorders due to a slow and progressive dehydration.

Dehydration

Every function inside the body is regulated by and depends on water. Water must be available to carry vital elements, oxygen, hormones, and chemical messengers to all parts of the body. Without sufficient water to wet all parts equally, some more remote parts of the body will not receive the vital elements that water supplies

Almost all the people we see and meet on a daily basis are dehydrated. How many folks complain of a lack of energy? Insufficient energy is the first sign that the blood, tissues, and organs are not getting enough water, and your liver and brain are the least tolerant of a lack of water.

Water is also needed to carry toxic waste away from the cells. In fact, there are at least 50 reasons why the body needs sufficient water on a regular, everyday basis. Without sufficient water to constantly wet all parts, your body's drought-management system kicks into action. The histamine-directed chemical messenger systems are activated to arrange a new, lower quota of water for the drought-stricken areas. When histamine and its subordinate "drought managers" come across pain-sensing nerves, they cause pain.

This is why dehydration produces pain as its first alarm signal. If the dehydration persists and is not corrected naturally with water, it becomes symptom-producing and, in time, develops into a disease condition. This is why people who take antacids to silence their bodies’ thirst pain become more vulnerable and eventually develop other serious complications of dehydration.

....use 1/4 tsp. of sea salt for every quart of water you drink. Use a good sea salt, one with at least 80 minerals, liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Some put it in their water, some lick it off their hand, some season their foods after cooking. It's up to you. Make sure you take potassium daily (banana, orange juice,etc).
